WHY A SMILING LLAMA?
I love llamas – they make me smile.

And...

After almost 10 years as a reporter / producer in Mainstream news, I was heading for a straight jacket. Covering, and seeing so many negative, doom and gloom reports is draining. So, I decided to focus on the stories that I liked; the ones that make me smile. There are so many groups, events, and people that positively contribute to our communities that must be shared.

While I believe its important to be informed about your community, and the world, its equally important to balance out the not-so-good, with the good. I hope you find that Smiling Llama provides a healthy dose of good news.
