Quick thinking saves lives

RCMP in Revelstoke says the quick actions of two young Kelowna men averted a tragedy.
Tyler Lockerby and his friend Matt Jackson were travelling east on the Trans-Canada Highway near Revelstoke when the driver of the Dodge Caravan in front of them lost control, rolled over and went down a 30-foot bank into Griffin Lake. The two men dove into the water, rescued three people from the vehicle before going back and rescuing a fourth person.
All four occupants of the Dodge are from Calgary,Alberta and were taken to hospital. All four had serious injuries, but thanks to the actions of the two teens, they are expected to recover.
